Protection and Beauty

Cracked, peeling, or loose siding is not only unattractive, it can cause real damage to you home. Insects, rain, snow, mold, mildew—they can all leave you facing costly repairs.

At A. Boilard Sons, we have a wide range of vinyl siding options vinyl siding styles. Made to look exactly like traditional, clapboard or shake siding. All without the maintenance of wood siding.

Versetta Stone® panelized stone veneer replicates natural stones. Just like real stone, it withstands the weather in any climate without the need to paint, coat or seal.

There are a lot of factors to consider when choosing siding; durability, versatility, and aesthetic preferences. There are clear differences between cedar and vinyl siding, but two things are true of both: siding can protect your home, inside and out, and improve its value.

You don't have to look far in New England to discover what makes cedar siding so popular. It has character and charm and can look either traditional or contemporary. You can buy a knotty grade to give your home a rustic appearance, or choose a clear grade for a more modern design. There are other advantages as well. Cedar is naturally resistant to insects and moisture. The wood is minimally porous, which makes it more water resistant than other woods.

And cedar is versatile. You can let your cedar siding weather naturally or choose from a wide range of paints and stains. There are plenty of pattern options as well, including lap siding, tongue and groove, board and batten, and shingle panels.

Fiber Cement Siding

Taking on the appearance of wood or masonry, cement board or “Hardie board” is popular for design aesthetics and scores well for durability. Typically, cement board does not become brittle or lose strength with age.

Vinyl is easy to install and replace. Because it's put up in panels, it's easy to switch out should one section get damaged. Of course, you may never have to do that kind of repair, as vinyl isn't likely to chip or dent.

At A. Boilard Sons you'll find vinyl siding in a variety of colors. If we don't have exactly what you want, we'll get it for you.
